The last step in the process
is to transform a slab into something for the home,
a kitchen work surface for example.
This is achieved by the
use of advanced cutting and polishing machines, plus
the skill and craftsmanship of experienced stonemasons
who add the finishing touches. All the way along the
process, diamonds and water are the essential tools.
The diamonds will cut and
progressively polish and the water will keep the stone
and the diamonds cool to prevent both of them burning
out.
